That’s why we invite you to join us for the Subaru Love Encore – a personalized, one-on-one session with Barney, our resident executive love encore. During your visit, Barney will walk you through your vehicle’s features, answer all your questions and help you customize everything to fit your lifestyle perfectly.
What happens during your Love Encore visit?
Once you’ve had a few weeks with your Subaru, we’ll welcome you back to Baxter Subaru Omaha for a Love Encore session – usually scheduled 14 to 60 days after your vehicle delivery. This relaxed 30- to 60-minute appointment is your chance to explore your Subaru in depth, so you can drive with even greater confidence and peace of mind.
Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll explore together:
- Bluetooth pairing and hands-free functionality
- Adjusting the power rear gate memory height
- Understanding the multi-function display (mileage, temperature and system info)
- Navigating with Subaru STARLINK™
- Getting the most out of Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology
- Setting up and using the MySubaru app and SUBARU STARLINK™ connected services

Meet Barney: Your Subaru Technology Expert
When you step into Baxter Subaru Omaha, you’ll be greeted by Barney, our executive love encore. With over 17 years of experience, Barney has worn many hats—starting as a service porter, moving through finance, and now serving as your go-to guide for all things Subaru.
Barney’s passion for helping people shines through in every interaction. “There’s nothing better than seeing a guest leave with a smile, feeling confident in their new Subaru,” he says. He goes beyond the first visit, offering his personal number to every guest. “I want people to know I’m always here for them—today, tomorrow, or years down the road.”
Outside of Subaru, Barney is a talented musician who loves playing guitar and singing. He’s even working on a one-man act—so don’t be surprised if your visit comes with an encore of its own!
